Happy Friday from Barcelona!
This week marks our very first “city break.” Temperatures are starting to dip in London, though it has continued to be sunny. Winter is definitely coming, but we’re enjoying all that autumn, as they call it here, has to offer by exploring and going big on apple crisps and comfort food, oops ;).
Our dresser arrived and we’re getting more organized around the flat. We’ve started planning some more trips (yaaaay!) that I can’t wait to share with you. Look for an update about our Barcelona travels next week, and in the meantime, follow me on Instagram and cross your fingers for wifi that will allow me to share some snaps while we are here!
Now for some snaps from the week:
We explored the Gardens along the banks of the Thames after visiting Westminster Abbey. Gotta love a good view of the Eye and some rain/sun.
One of my favorite London views. The clouds here are so full and low to the ground – they make such an impressive backdrop!
Gluten-free Ramen! We had a tasty lunch that was a perfect match for the chilly autumn weather at Shoryu. It is a chain, like many restaurants here in London, but when we walked by this location over the summer, there was a line out the door! It did not disappoint, soup was perfect for a chilly rain/sun combo touring day!
Came upon this striking shoe sculpture in Soho.
The most beautiful flowers arrived on Thursday from the most thoughtful friend! I was feeling a little down with all the craziness and stress of moving. The delivery man came when I was in the shower, but luckily he was persistent in getting someone on a lower floor to buzz him into the building. These truly brightened up my day and they’re from the lovely shop Grace & Thorn 😍
